Stuart Upson
Founder & Creative Director
Stuart has spent more than two decades creating brands, campaigns, experiences and ideas that help businesses communicate better and win.
His career has included senior creative and design work for major names including Carabao Energy Drink, Blue Yonder, Papa John's, Peel Group, Ella's Kitchen, eHarmony, Wetherspoon, Chester Zoo and Fred Perry, as well as helping launch Carabao into the UK market.
He founded Absolute Mustard to give independent and ambitious businesses access to the same quality of creative thinking and partnership that helps big companies succeed.
Tirelessly enthusiastic about the businesses he works with, Stuart aims to make the creative process enjoyable, inspiring and commercially valuable. He wants every customer to feel they have someone in their corner - generating ideas, solving problems, spotting opportunities and helping them win.

Amy Crawford-Jones
Senior Designer & Strategic Creative Partner
Amy has worked alongside Stu for years and is a hugely trusted part of the Absolute Mustard team. An experienced senior designer and wide creative thinker, she's far more than simply a pair of hands on a design brief.
With over eight years' experience, Amy has worked across complex print, digital and brand projects, including major long-term accounts, large-scale campaigns and multi-million-pound rebrands.
She's brilliant at interrogating a brief, understanding the bigger picture and then turning ideas and strategy into beautifully considered creative. Her exceptional attention to detail, organisation and diligence mean she's often several steps ahead - challenging where needed, spotting problems early and consistently overdelivering.
Amy brings additional creative firepower, experience and resilience to Absolute Mustard, allowing us to scale up for larger projects while maintaining the care and quality our clients expect.

Millie is our video and social content specialist and founder of Hello Socials Agency. With a degree in Marketing & PR and hands-on experience helping businesses communicate through modern social media, she brings another important dimension to Absolute Mustard.
Millie helps our customers move beyond static posts and show the people, personality, products and stories behind their businesses through accessible, high-quality video.
From content days, reels and testimonial videos to product footage, interviews and social content, she plans, films and edits content designed to help businesses connect with their audience naturally and professionally.
Lee Midlane
Branded Merchandise & Experiences
Lee brings extensive practical experience across personalised products, branded merchandise, events, retail, production and business ownership.
As founder of Box Brand, she understands the difference between putting a logo on something and creating something people will genuinely want to receive, use, wear and remember.
From branded clothing and event merchandise to customer gifts, onboarding packs and memorable branded experiences, Lee helps us think beyond the obvious and find products that are appropriate for the audience, occasion and budget.
